Криптовалюты как средство хеджирования от шоков волатильности: анализ крипторынков, нефтяных рынков и рынков акций с использованием нечеткой копулы

Аннотация

В условиях растущей интеграции глобальных финансовых рынков понимание динамичных взаимосвязей между энергетическими рынками, рынками цифровых активов и фондовыми рынками имеет решающее значение для эффективного управления портфелем ценных бумаг и снижения рисков. Цель: в данном исследовании рассматриваются потенциальные преимущества криптовалют для хеджирования шоков волатильности путем анализа нелинейных и зависящих от режима взаимосвязей между рынками сырой нефти, биткоина и акций. Метод: в исследовании используется структура нечеткой копулы, которая включает копулы Гаусса, Стьюдента, Клейтона и Гумбеля для учета асимметричных структур и распределений, зависящих от хвоста. Для оценки динамических связей в условиях низкой, средней и высокой волатильности используются взвешенные по нечетким параметрам меры зависимости, что облегчает плавные переходы между режимами и локальный анализ зависимости. Результаты: результаты показывают слабую среднюю зависимость при нормальных рыночных условиях, что свидетельствует об ограниченной эффективности криптовалют в хеджировании. Однако в периоды повышенной волатильности наблюдается статистически значимая зависимость в верхнем хвосте распределения, указывающая на ухудшение преимуществ диверсификации в условиях рыночного стресса. Научный вклад: исследование предоставляет ценную информацию для инвесторов, управляющих портфелями и политиков, подчеркивая роль криптовалют в хеджировании в зависимости от режима. Результаты подчеркивают важность нелинейных и чувствительных к режиму моделей в распределении портфеля, управлении рисками и оценке финансовой стабильности.
